B-WAP is more than a bag - it's a message! Backpacks with a Purpose's mission is to meet needs when they find them. The first B-WAP® backpack was made in 2002 as a direct response to the needs of the Urban Mission in Oklahoma City. Since then, through partnerships with hundreds of nonprofit organizations, over 1 million Classic BWAP backpacks have been distributed to students who need them most.

APPROACH

I was asked by BWAP to create an animation that visually explained how a purchase of a BWAP backpack can help someone in need. My roles included art direction, illustration, and animation. It truly was an honor to work with a client whose focus is on social justice.
